These unglazed stoneware pots were designed and made by hand here at The Orchid Gallery specifically to help you grow spectacular paphiopedilums, phalaenopsis, oncidiums and other orchids that like intermediate to warm conditions. The offering here is 3 medium Warm Pots, roughly 6 inches in diameter and about 5 inches high, for $24.99. These Warm Pots have a clay cone in the center, preventing the potting media from quickly turning into dirt in the middle. The drain holes are in the conventional location, at the bottom of the pot. Warm Pots are made of durable stoneware, which is not porous like our Cool Pots. This makes them ideal containers for orchids that do not like to dry out quickly. They are less likely to chip and crack than standard terra cotta pots. They are reusable, too. The color is an attractive beige. Our paphs and phals grow and bloom in Warm Pots noticeably better than plants in plastic pots. These pots are hand made and there will be slight variations in size.
