Strengths: Easy to use. Rear Bag is a great feature. Easy to maintain/clean. Less noisy compared to gas mowers.

Weakness: As with all electric lawn mower's, the cord can sometimes get in the way. Rear bag is a little small.

I really like it! Assembly was a snap -- essentially nothing to do but lift up and tighten the handle, then set the catcher bag in place. It's light to handle and maneuver while mowing. Strengths: Reliable mower, without the concern of gas refills & start-up hassles. Size is not too big & streamlined. Easy to maneuver.

Weakness: Grass catcher bag is on the big side, making it less functional for quick dumping into trash bags.

Black & Decker's MM875 elecric mower seems thus far to work as well as previous model MM850. It's a nice, efficient alternative to a gas mower. Immediate cutting action upon hook-up compensates for the minor obstacle of a cord.

Great Electric Mower for the price!!

Strengths: soft-one-touch height adjustment, quieter than the gas type, good torque against tall grasses & light in weight relative to gas or cordless mover

Weakness: cord-type (has to be careful of the electric extension cord), doesn't have the front-propelled and flip-handle features but not a show-stopper.

The B&D cord-type lawn mover is environmental friendly since it does not emit pollution to the air plus there is no battery to deal with recycling (most of the rechargeable batteries for the lawn mower that are being used by many brands are not very environmentally friendly). Light and clean mower

Strengths: It is very light. The bag collects the grass which saves a lot time cleaning. No need to pull the string to start the engine.

Weakness: The power cord needs extra attention. The power is not enough for high grass.

The machine is easy to assemble and operate. The height of the knife is extremely easy to adjust. The power is not enough. I was planning to trade in my gas mower but now I decide to keep it just for some heavy-duty mowing. Also the bag needs to be cleaned constantly.

Not bad if you don't mind grass cuttings left behind

Strengths: Electric, less hassle.

Weakness: Weak on taller grass. Can be heavy for moderate hills. The rear bag does not work well since the pathway to the bag always gets blocked by wet grass which is common in the NW.

Good mower for small flat areas in drier climates. Watch out that you don't mow the cord. Also, have a good quality cord. In wetter areas, you will need to clean up underneath the mower every 5 minutes.

Fine Mower

Strengths: Light weight, and saves on GAS

Weakness: Requires 12 amp wire ($58), thick and heavy to work with and VERY worrysome
