I was very diappointed with this product. Despite it's claim to cut up to a 3/4 inch brnach. It does not. My blades were mangled attempting to do that and I cannot find replacement baldes anywhere.Of course it happened just outside the warranty.

Its obviously less noisy then my gas trimmer and you have to get used to the cord getting in the way now and then... While only having used it for extensive trimming of huge oleander bushes, I found this trimmer to be very powerful and easy to use. In addition, being longer, it could reach much higher without my having to get onto a ladder. Compared to my smaller (16") trimmer (also Black & Decker), this made the job so quick and easy. Great hedge trimmer!
Strengths: Powerful, well balanced, less vibration, fast & smooth cuts

Very well balanced and powerful! I have about 50 feet of large boxwood hedge and I can shape it with this trimmer in less than half the time it took with my old one. I like this machine so well that I recently bought a second HH2450 for my mother so I won't have to use her old trimmer when I trim her hedges :-)
