Strengths: Quality of construction -- built like a tank. Long warranty. High grade ss. Comes w/ rotisserie. Flavorizer system reduces flare ups. Large cooking area. Side burner.
Weakness: Cost. Only front of base is stainless steel -- the sides and rear are painted steel and not quite as solid. Side prep area is a little on the flimsy side. Limited usable storage area in cart.
If you can afford it, this thing should last for years with its high quality construction. The stainless steel is all the higher quality 340 grade vice the cheaper 430 grade -- and it is thick. This thing weighs a ton -- even with the cart being painted steel on the side and back. The flavorizer system and grease drainage system do a pretty good job of eliminating flare ups. The built in...
Strengths: very well built, ample grill surface, fast and high heat levels, smoker unit performs well, side burner works well in outdoor cooking conditions
Weakness: relatively fast gas (lp) consumption rate, but not unexpected given the number of burners
I purchased this Weber grill primarily for entertaining. We held three gatherings of 15-20 people in one week and the grill was more than up to the task. The smoker unit inside the grill provides good smoke levels. When charged with wood chips it provides about 1-2 hours of smoke. This required adding more chips to smoke a pork shoulder for barbecue. But the end result was very nice. I have not...
Strengths: Sturdy, well built; even heating;easy to light
Weakness: would like the rotisserie to allow for a slightly larger bird
This is an excellent grill for the money; tons of extras. It is super easy to light (just turn the knobs), the heating is superb and the cooking area is plentiful. The grill and cabinets are well-built; no rattling or shimmying. The lights on the handles make evening barbecues a breeze...love this grill!
Strengths: versatile, can do everything
Weakness: have not found one yet
Very pleased with this Weber Summit S-650. I have already smoked some ribs, rotisserie two chickens, and grilled steaks and kabobs. Grill has been easy to use and more importantly easy to keep clean.
The Weber Summit S-620 is a gas grill constructed from an enclosed cart with stainless steel doors and chrome plated cast-aluminum handles, a stainless steel shroud with a polished handle, and an accent-colored painted steel frame. An upgrade from the Summit S-640, the S-650 features 6 stainless steel burners that burn at up to 60,000 BTU per hour, a smoker burner and stainless steel smoker box...

Weber S-650 pretty good/not perfect
Strengths: Good design; well manufactured; fairly well assembled
Weakness: slight dent in door on delivery; doors not aligned very well; rotisserie must be lit by hand
Delivery caution - only one guy delivers this 300 lb. product. Even if you want to tip well and have the grill placed in a particular spot (i.e., backyard patio?) the delivery guy can't do it. Luckily my wife & I had some furniture delivered the next day and the furniture guys moved the grill to the backyard patio. There is some assembly required, but it's minimal. I almost broke up with a...
